Paula Faris

Paula Faris is an American journalist who previously worked as the TV correspondent for ABC News. She is famous for her work as co-anchor for Good Morning America Weekend from 2015 to 2018, and in her role as co-host on The View from 2015 to the year 2018. She was also co-anchor on America This Morning and World News Now. After graduating, she worked in several communications-related jobs including an operations position at Mills/James Productions in Columbus, Ohio. She worked in radio sales, due to limited television opportunities. She was hired as a WKEF/WRGT production assistant. Later, she became a reporter and anchor. From 2002 until 2005, she was the sports anchor for weekends as well as the sports anchor for weekdays at WCPO-TV in Cincinnati. When her contract ended in 2005, she was a anchor and sports reporter for the NBC affiliate WMAQ-TV in Chicago from November 2005 to December 2011. In December 2011 it was revealed that she was employed by the news division of ABC, ABC News. She joined ABC News for their World News Now and America This Morning on January 2nd in 2012. In this period, she appeared as a fill-in on Good Morning America as well as the correspondent. Later, she was made a New York-based correspondent on every ABC News programs. The program was not able for her to finish the final show of World News Now or America This Morning. It was on January 22nd, 2013. Her debut was on Good Morning America Weekend as co-anchor on the 9th of August, 2014. This was after Bianna Golodryga shifted to Yahoo! News. News. The show revealed on August 3 on the 3rd of August, 2016, that she was renewed for for the 20th season. Season 21 also got renewed with co-hosting duties. She appeared mostly during episodes on Fridays in the 21st season and the 22nd season.
