Magda Apanowicz

Magda Apanowicz (NOH-vitch; Polish: born November 8 the 8th of November, 1985) is a Canadian actor from Canada. She is most well-known for her roles in ABC Family's Kyle XY as Andy Jensen and Syfy's Caprica science fiction drama series in the role of Lacy Rand. Emily Hartwell, a science fiction actress was born Maya Hartwell. Recently, she was spotted as Sandy in the Netflix thriller series You. Apanowicz is from Polish origin and lived for the entire time in Poland in the ninth grade. She lived in Poland with her uncle , and she attended the school in Jelenia Gora. She went on to study at Vancouver Film School. The brother of her introduced her to Pulp Fiction at the age 10 and she immediately became fascinated by acting. She started her acting career in 2002 with brief appearances on the TV series Jeremiah and John Doe.From 2007 to 2009 she played the role of Andy Jensen on Kyle XY. In 2008 she starred in the Hallmark Channel original movie Every Second Counts.In 2009, Apanowicz was cast as Lacy Rand as a regular on the TV drama Caprica, with Eric Stoltz and Alessandra Torresani. In the following season, she appeared on Hellcats. In 2012, she starred as Emily in Jane Espenson's upcoming second season of her web-based romantic comedy series Husbands. In 2013, Apanowicz also played the part of Samantha in The Green Inferno, an Eli Roth horror film. The Green Inferno, although it was made in 2012, was released globally in the year 2015. Apanowicz was cast to play Angela in Volition an science fiction thriller film. The film premiered in 2020.In 2019, Apanowicz was cast in the role of Sandy on the second season of the Netflix thriller You.

Milena Govich, who is a director as well as actor and musician has directed many episodes on TV including Chicago Med (2015), The Equalizer (2021), FBI The Most Wanted(2020), Chicago Fire (2012) and many more.
